Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous hospital experience is preferred.
• Ability to think critically and act decisively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care: obtain vitals, feeding, hygiene, and mobility.
• Assist with routine procedures and patient prep as needed.
• Schedule and coordinate diagnostics and physician orders.
• Answer call lights promptly and notify staff when needed.
• Support patient satisfaction with service excellence.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and act appropriately.
• Collect data, maintain confidentiality and observe privacy.
• Enter charges for procedures and supplies as applicable.
• Report problems to the appropriate department and help resolve.
• Remain flexible, work as part of a team, and project professionalism.
• Perform vital signs, height, weight, and basic triage measurements.
• Assist with sterile field setup for procedures.
• May perform other patient care activities as directed by the RN.
