Job summary

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician Day Surgery to join our collaborative nursing team. You will assist Registered Nurses with vital signs, mobility, transfers and daily patient care, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.

No previous experience is required, and Basic Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment. You will help with dressing changes, skin protection and comfort, while maintaining clean, organized patient areas and

• BLS within 7 days of start date.
• No travel required.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized and stocked to ensure safety.
• Manage supplies, equipment and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families and the care team to support safety and quality.
