Job summary

ClearSky Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide direct, non-invasive bedside care under RN supervision in Eau Claire, WI. The role emphasizes patient comfort, safety, and adherence to hospital standards.

The position requires handling basic patient care tasks, documenting vital signs and intake/output, and collaborating with nursing staff to deliver quality care. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and BLS certification; inpatient experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years inpatient hospital experience preferred.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care (bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming).
• Record and report vital signs, intake/output, weights, and specimens.
• Assist in patient transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Notify nursing staff of changes in patient condition.
• Prepare units and rooms for admissions and ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Respond promptly to patient and family calls and requests.
• Assist with accurate patient chargemaster designation as needed.
• Maintain compliance with infection prevention and safety standards.
