Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) under the supervision of a Nurse Leader. The role involves performing direct and indirect patient care duties to support a safe, efficient environment and positive patient experience.

Training is provided on-site with opportunities for career advancement through a clinical ladder. This entry-level position offers on-the-job orientation, flexible scheduling, and a chance to learn vital skills such as monitoring and post-operative support

Qualifications

• No experience required, training provided on-site.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 2 months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Certification as a CNA, CPCT/A, EMT or CMA to be eligible for advancement in the PCT clinical ladder.

Responsibilities

• Perform selected interventions and activities that contribute to providing comprehensive patient care.
• Support a safe and efficient care environment under the supervision of a Nurse Leader.
• Participate in the clinical ladder program for career advancement.
