Job summary

Sierra Medical Center in Reno, NV, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide safe, patient-centered care on acute care units. You will support the nursing team with bedside care, measurements, and patient comfort while maintaining strict standards of safety and professionalism.

Requirements include completion of an accredited CNA program, an active Nevada CNA license, and a current BLS card. Full-time and part-time shifts are available to meet unit needs.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited C.N.A program.
Current Nevada C.N.A. license.
Current BLS certificate.
Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

Provides safe, competent nursing care under supervision.
Completes bedside shift report and ensures care team contact information is visible.
Involves patient and family psychosocial needs in care.

Job summary: Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Completes bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensures patient is providedwith names and contact numbers for members of the care team on the communication board every shift.
Meets with supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks
Involves thee patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care
