Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL is seeking a Patient Care Tech for Cardiovascular Tele 3H. This role provides direct and indirect patient support under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, focusing on nutrition, hygiene, safety and comfort.

Eligible candidates include Florida CNAs or RN students who have completed Fundamentals in Nursing and uploaded transcripts. On-site position at the TGH Main Campus.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED and Florida CNA certification.
• If RN student: must have completed Fundamentals in Nursing and upload transcript.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct and indirect patient care on the Cardiovascular Telemetry unit.
• Support patient nutrition, hygiene, safety, and comfort under supervision of licensed staff.
• Document care activities and communicate changes to the licensed nursing team.

Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician provides a variety of indirect and direct care, including provision for patient's dependency needs such as nutrition, hygiene, safety, and physical and psychological comfort measures, to patient and significant others, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision, and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D and Florida CNA certification.
• ORMUST be currently enrolled in an R.N. program and have completed Fundamentals in Nursing, and upload transcript to profile.
