Job summary

St. Bernard's Healthcare in Jonesboro, AR seeks a clinic support assistant to help nurses and physicians move patients through the clinic and testing areas. You will greet patients, operate clinic software and assist with vital signs, following established protocols.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent GED.
• Prior health care and/or physician office experience is desired. Experience working with the public is helpful.

• Normal physician office environment. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and/or soft tones. Occasional exposure to hazards. Demonstrate the ability to operate or learn to operate a multi-line phone, copier, fax, standard computer programs such as word. Continuous walking and standing. Frequent bending, stooping, pulling and pushing. Lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs. Pushing and or pulling up to 300lbs.

• Routinely greet and escort patients.
• Operate clinic specific software, equipment and assist with vital sign, assimilation according to established clinic protocols. Must have a neat appearance and positive disposition and be able to work well with individuals from varied backgrounds. Must be conscientious, dependable and adhere to the goals and mission of the clinic and medical center.
