Community Bridges in Arizona is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our multidisciplinary treatment team. Under the medical direction of a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care in person or telephonically and help maintain a safe, supportive environment for behavioral health patients.

The role emphasizes safety, responsiveness to crises, and collaboration with the RN, Lead PCT, and program leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months health care related experience with exposure to behavioral/medical crisis situations.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.

Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team that provides direct care to behavioral health patients working under the medical direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) in person or telephonic. The primary focus is direct patient care as directed and delegated by the RN, Lead PCT, Operation Supervisor, Operations Administrator, or Program Manager. The PCT is also responsible for the safety of the unit they are assigned to, including identifying environmental and patient‑specific safety concerns, and elevating those concerns to the RN, RN Manager, Operations Supervisor, or designee as needed.

Skills / Requirements

• Highschool diploma or GED required. Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of health care related experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
