Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside is hiring a Patient Care Tech for a full-time role in Columbus, GA. You will care for patients from birth to the lifecycle under supervision and perform procedures and use equipment per hospital policy.

Required BCLS (upon hire); CNA or PCT certification preferred; GED or high school diploma preferred. No experience required, 1 year of care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; 1 year patient care experience preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred; certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred.

Responsibilities

The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
