Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide essential direct patient care under clinical supervision. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, vital signs, and documentation, while supporting the nursing team for procedures and transport.

We value a proactive learner focused on compassionate patient care. Qualified candidates are high school graduates with CNA or EMT certification in good standing in Arizona, plus current BLS.

Formación

• Active CNA or EMT in good standing in Arizona
• Current American Heart Association BLS card
• Six months acute care hospital or long-term care experience (preferred)

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the assessment of the health status of our patients.
• Communicates pertinent patient information to appropriate members of the treatment team with the direction of the Charge Nurse
• Assist patients/families with light housekeeping duties such as assisting with meals or changing bed linens.
• Report any changes in a patient's condition to the Nurse.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will deliver essential direct patient care under the supervision of our clinical team. Leveraging your knowledge of basic patient care principles and medical terminology, you will perform a range of daily duties. Every day you will actively assist patients with personal care, mobility, and feeding, monitoring vital signs, documenting observations, and maintaining a therapeutic and organized patient environment. You will also work closely with the nursing team to prepare patients for procedures or transport. To be successful in this role requires a genuine passion for patient well‑being, diligence in executing tasks, keen observational skills regarding patient conditions, and a proactive approach to continuous learning and professional development. You’re diligent about your tasks, observant of patients’ conditions improving or declining, and accept coaching well. You know we’re all continuously trying to become better care providers, and you’re eager to learn.

Job Requirements - Required

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in good standing valid to work in Arizona
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support card (AHA BLS)

Preferred

• Six (6) months acute care hospital, long term care experience.

Pay Range

$19.49 - $27.52 /hour
