Job summary

HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our nursing team in Brooksville, FL. You will support Registered Nurses by assisting with vital signs, mobility, personal care, and creating a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

Your role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and attention to detail as you help monitor conditions, carry out care plans, and ensure patients feel valued and comfortable during their stay.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• No experience required

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be a vital part of our collaborative nursing team, supporting Registered Nurses in providing hands-on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients.
