Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta seeks a Patient Care Technician to provide nursing assistance and direct patient care, supporting comfort, safety and daily living activities within a unit-based, self-directed team. The role collaborates with licensed and non-licensed staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

The position requires BLS or CNA/MA credentials and at least 1 year of acute patient care experience, with preferred color acuity and flexibility for evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Certified Nursing Assistant on the Georgia Registry.
• Certified Medical Assistant awarded by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
• Registered Medical Assistant awarded by the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant awarded by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
• One (1) year of patient care experience, as a CNA, PCT, Military Medic, ED Tech or other relevant acute, direct patient care experience.

REQUIRED
