Job summary

You will track, clean, and perform basic repair of equipment and ensure availability of supplies while maintaining patient safety. Strong English communication and flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Six months of healthcare experience
• Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
• Preferred: previous experience as a hospital assistant
• Knowledge and practice of infectious control techniques and medical terminology
• Basic Life Support certification

Responsibilities

• Assists direct patient care providers with safe patient handling, including lifting, positioning, transferring, and transporting, stocking, cleaning, and set-up of special procedure rooms.
• Tracks, delivers, cleans, and performs basic repair of equipment and supplies and ensures equipment is available and in good condition when needed.
