Job summary

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic medical terminology and nursing terminology.
• CNA or LVN certification preferred or enrollment in nursing program.
• Ability to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Read, write and speak English effectively.
• Demonstrates clear communication and patient-care skills.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs and report changes.
• Assist with patient hygiene and elimination.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient care unit.
• Stock supplies and operate hospital equipment as directed.
• Perform routine clerical tasks and document care.
• Assist with other related duties as assigned.
