Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a patient care assistant to support a Registered Nurse and patient care team with nutritional, clinical and transportation services to promote patient comfort and satisfaction.

You will help maintain inventory, transport patients and equipment, assist with direct and indirect patient care, and perform other duties as assigned, contributing to a positive work environment and ongoing skill development.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining inventory supply and stocking units according to established procedures and standards.
• Transporting patients and equipment. Delivering records and specimens.
• Assisting nursing and medical personnel in delegated direct/indirect patient care activities.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
