Fairview is looking for a Patient Care Supervisor in the Med/Surg Cardiac Tele Unit at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, MN. This position is 48 hours per two weeks on the Eveningshift, working 8 hour shifts, and is eligible for benefits. This is an hourly position.

About this Unit:
This is a 33 bed Heart Care unit with rapid turnaround for patients that stay on average for 2.5 days. Our typical patient population consists of patients with observable chest pain, ruling out anything cardiac related, stroke patients, and alcohol withdrawal. We prepare and recover our patients for stress tests, echocardiograms, and cardiac procedures including diagnostic angiograms/stent placement, ablations, pacemakers and ICD insertions, and open heart surgery. Our unit cares for many patients with heart failure and cardiac arrythmias needing IV drips. RNs will identify cardiac rhythms and determine next steps for patients with MD guidance.
