Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a patient care associate to perform basic patient care under the supervision of an RN. You will assist with monitoring vital signs, EKG testing, phlebotomy and glucose measurements, while helping keep patient areas stocked and clean.

The role includes assisting patients with daily living activities, transporting patients as needed, and promptly reporting changes in patient condition to nursing staff.

Qualifications

• No degree required.
• BLS certifications required or within six months of hire.
• EKG and phlebotomy competencies required within six months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Monitor vital signs, perform EKG testing, phlebotomy, and blood glucose measurements.
• Record intake and output; maintain stocked, clean patient rooms and areas.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient transport as needed.
• Report abnormal findings to nursing staff; provide support under RN supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
