Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, feeding, transferring, ambulating, transporting and making beds.
• Clean and maintain equipment, patient rooms and other areas as assigned.
• Measure and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations, glucometer, oxygen saturation, weight intake and output, and food consumption.
• Report patient status changes or requests to licensed nursing staff during rounds and via call lights.
• Document patient care information in the medical record per policies and procedures.
