Job summary

UCSD Health is seeking a Patient Sitter to assist with activities of daily living and vital signs under the supervision of an RN. You will help maintain a safe environment and participate in uncomplicated procedures while supporting team goals and performance improvement efforts.

Ideal candidates will have six months in acute care or related settings, plus BART or BLS certification; CNA license is preferred. Bilingual skills and familiarity with UCSD systems are a plus.

Qualifications

• BART or BLS at hire with 6 months to obtain within 6 months.
• Six months experience in an acute care setting.
• Observe deviations from normal.
