Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be listed on a Nurse Assistant Registry operated by the North Dakota Board of Nursing, or obtain placement immediately after orientation and training by St. Alexius Medical Center as stated in the policy.”Eligibility for Employment as Nurse Assistant.”

Responsibilities

• Observes patients to ensure safety.
• Performs routine duties as directed by patient care staff within the scope of protocol.
• Seeks assistance from patient care staff as patient’s condition warrants.
• Reports relevant information to RN in charge of patient.
• Provides diversional activities to patient.
