Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN is seeking compassionate Care Partners (Nursing Assistants) to provide hands-on patient care and support clinical procedures, including blood draws and catheter care.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse, assisting with daily patient care, ensuring a safe and clean unit, and helping with patient flow and communication with patients and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Enrollment in RN program with first semester completed and nursing fundamentals.
• Graduation from a Nursing Assistant/Aide Training Program within the past year (certificate required).

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under licensed nurse supervision.
• Support day-to-day delivery of patient care.
• Maintain safe patient care flow by following area standards.
• Serve as liaison for patient and family communication and education.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and unit environmental standards.
