Job summary

GBMC HealthCare in Baltimore seeks a sitter under the direct supervision of the RN to observe patients and assist in direct and indirect patient care. Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Current Maryland Board of Nursing CNA certification.
• 6 months CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe the patient(s) in the room under supervision and report changes.
• Assist with feeding, ADLs, bathing, and related tasks as needed.
• Document patient changes and various activities in EPIC.
• Maintain a safe environment and proper infection control.
• Notify care providers if patient condition or behavior changes.
