Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Patient Care Leader for the Med Surg Tele unit at Mease Dunedin Hospital. This role leads nursing practice on the unit and ensures 24/7 accountability for patient care outcomes, delivering complex nursing care with clinical excellence.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Nursing, is an RN with BLS, and ACLS if required by the department, and has at least 2 years of acute care RN experience. This full-time position may require varying shifts.

Position Description:

• The Patient Care Leader (PCL) is a clinical nurse who leads the practice of nursing and manages care on the patient care unit.

• This nurse is proficient in the delivery of complex nursing care and continuously promotes quality care assuming a broad level of accountability for outcomes.

• The Patient Care Leader provides 24 hour/ 7 day accountability care for assigned patients.
