Job summary

Adventist Health Simi Valley is seeking an executive nursing leader to direct hospital operations, patient safety initiatives, and care quality across the market. The role requires extensive nursing operations experience and senior management skills in a large health system.

You will collaborate with the CMO and physician leaders to align strategic priorities, allocate resources, and shape patient experience initiatives across multiple departments and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), or related field: Required
• Master's Degree in nursing or related field, or the knowledge and skills associated with an advanced degree or written plan to obtain these qualifications: Required
• DNP Degree in Nursing Executive Leadership: Preferred
• Fifteen years' related operations and/or nursing experience: Preferred
• Ten years’ management experience demonstrating leadership development and competency. Five years’ nursing leadership experience.: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversees operations for single market or facility.
• Manages, directs, and leads market level leadership to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
• Develops and implements operations plans and objectives, coordinates care, services, and programming to achieve objectives.
• Provides leadership to clinical teams to deliver nursing care, treatment, and services.
• Leads and ensures continuous improvement in care management, care transitions and utilization management across the organization.
