Rotech Healthcare Inc. in Murray, KY is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator - REMOTE, to support our Sleep Central After Hours Call Center.

You will contact patients regarding delivery of equipment, take orders, verify information, and enter orders promptly. The role requires strong English communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work five days per week including Saturdays and Sundays and some evenings.

Qualifications

Overview and Responsibilities

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator - REMOTE, Must live within the US for our Sleep Central (After Hours Call Center) Murray, KY Operations. In this position you will be responsible for contacting all patients regarding delivery of equipment, taking patient orders, verifying patient information and placing the order in a timely manner.

Pay is $16 plus a Quarterly Bonus opportunity

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• This position requires you to work five days a week.


• This includes every Saturday and Sunday as well as three evening shifts during weekdays starting at or after 4:00pm Central time. Schedules vary and can be discussed during the interview process.


• Accurately transcribes patient profile over telephone including data entry of information and possible outbound calling


• Obtains medically necessary documentation


• Processes patient orders through On-linePharmacy system


• Resolves tracking issues and reschedules shipping orders for patients


• Troubleshoots problems based on patient input regarding the scope and/or magnitude of failure


• Verifies orders are complete


• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, required

Preferred Education and/or Experience

• Background in the medical field with experience in administrative record management, preferred


• Experience working with medical equipment, preferred


• Familiarity with medical billing processes and reimbursement procedures, preferred


• Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred


• Minimum of one year of related work experience, preferred

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to interpret various forms of communication, including verbal, non-verbal, written, and visual


• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately


• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team


• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information


• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time and solve problems using deductive reasoning


• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task effectively


• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to navigate the internet and conduct online research

Physical Demands
