Virtua seeks an Administrative Patient Navigator to oversee the patient journey from scheduling to post-visit follow-up. You will coordinate testing, referrals, and documentation, serving as the first-line contact for patients and working across physician and staff teams.
Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in a surgical or clinical setting, strong customer service, and experience with electronic health records, preferably Next-Gen. On-site role with full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Summary:
Administratively coordinates and monitors the patient throughout the patient experience including: scheduling of appropriate appointments, documentation, insurance coordination, pre-certifications for testing, follow-up diagnostic testing. Coordination and communication with patient, provider and multi-disciplinary departments. Coordinator will be the first-line administrative contact for patient, while providing concierge-like service and access. Responsible for monitoring insurance, billing issues, testing results coordination, as well as pre-certification/insurance status and appeals. Coordinates the administrative flow of the patient experience. Reports directly to Practice Coordinator and/or Practice Manager.
Current Medical Assistant certification preferred.
Hourly Rate: $18.89 - $27.81The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
