Virtua Health in Camden, NJ is seeking a friendly Medical Office Clerk to support frontline operations and patient interactions. You will verify insurance, schedule appointments, register patients, and handle billing data with accuracy and courtesy.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of medical office experience, strong communication skills, and solid computer literacy. This full-time, on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and Monday–Friday shifts with a 40-hour workweek.

  • Performs billing functions such as entering charges and payments, collecting co-pays, reconciling batches and preparing deposits.
  • Responsible for preparing referrals and obtaining pre-certifications as required.
  • May train and direct office assistants at sites, including preparation of work and training schedules. Acts as office resource and mentoring role model.

Hourly Rate: $18.69 - $26.01The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
