Job summary

Providence is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to provide receptionist and clerical support across three Urgent Care locations in Spokane Valley. This per diem role will help schedule patients, gather documentation, and coordinate aspects of patient care to ensure continuity of care.

The PCC will handle prior authorizations when necessary, work to promote teamwork, and reflect Providence's mission of compassionate, patient-focused care across the network.

Qualifications

  • Customer service experience required.
  • At least 6 months in office or medical office setting preferred.
  • At least 6 months EMR/Practice Management experience preferred.

Description

A Patient Care Coordinator provides a variety of receptionist and skilled clerical duties in support of the clinics. This position is responsible for scheduling patients, obtaining necessary documentation and coordinating aspects of patient care to ensure continuity of care. Position performs prior authorizations when necessary. A PCC will perform all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and values of the facility.


This position is per diem and will be assisting all three of our Urgent Care locations. PMP in Spokane Valley Hawthorne in North Spokane and South Division in Downtown Spokane. Assuring you have reliable transportation is important in this position.

Required Qualifications


  • Customer service-related experience.


Preferred Qualifications


  • 6 months of Office or medical office.


  • 6 months of Electronic Medical Record / Practice Management experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
