Under the direction of the facility Director, provides administrative and data management support for the outpatient surgery center. The Patient Care Coordinator is the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring they and their families receive timely, efficient, and compassionate service. Responsibilities include receptionist duties, registration, scheduling, medical record management, and data entry.
Education: High school diploma or GED; basic computer skills required. Additional training beyond high school, but less than an Associate's Degree, is desirable.
Certification, Registration & Licensure: None required.
Experience: None required; prior healthcare experience and knowledge of medical terminology are highly preferred.
