We are currently looking for qualified applicants to interview for the position of Patient Care Coordinator - Medical Assistant. Applicants must be able to multitask and pay attention to detail.
Shift days and hours will be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities include checking in and scheduling patients, chart prepping, confirming appointments, answering phones when needed, and various medical record duties. Must be able to type.
To succeed in this role, you should have strong verbal and written bilingual skills (English + an additional language), at least 2 years of experience as a Senior Medical Assistant / Receptionist, and experience working in a multi-specialty medical center (Front End Patient Care experience required). Responsibilities also include verifying patient information by interviewing patients, recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of the visit. Preparing patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests such as taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature, and reporting patient history summaries. Prior EHR experience is a very strong plus.
