We are seeking an Inventory Control Delivery Associate to fulfill product orders and deliver to sites in the Wyoming/Grand Rapids, MI area.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Obtain medical documentation from physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, therapists, nursing facilities, and hospitals as applicable.
  2. Obtain insurance authorizations for patients as needed, through direct live/phone communication, fax, and email as appropriate.
  3. Communicate courteously and professionally with patients for scheduling, financial responsibility, and required medical documentation through direct live/phone communication, fax, and email as appropriate.
  4. Create patient account profiles in the Medical Record system.
  5. Comply with Corporate Compliance and HIPAA responsibilities.
  6. Fulfill product orders and deliver to each site based on daily requisition reports.
  7. Establish and maintain relationships with clients.
  8. Drive throughout the Grand Rapids Metro area several days a week.
  9. Perform light shipping and receiving of medical device products and components.
  10. Perform inventory checks and collect information for reimbursement purposes.
  11. Verify and process prescription and referral requests from Patient Care Coordinators to ensure reimbursement.
  12. Ensure proper signatures for delivery receipts and benefit assignment.
  13. Prepare and deliver product requisitions to each account.
  14. Conduct physical inventory at each account as needed.
  15. Resolve product and service problems.
  16. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clean driving record and reliable, safe vehicle.
  • Supply Chain/Inventory Control experience preferred.
  • Shipping and receiving experience preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, drive, bend, squat, lift, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Office administrative experience, preferably in a medical/dental/therapy setting.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid is a plus.
  • Customer service experience.
