Orsini Rare Disease Pharmacy Solutions seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support patient deliveries, schedule orders, and assist the pharmacist with dispensing medications in a fast-paced hybrid role based in Elk Grove Village, IL.

You will handle inbound calls, verify patient benefits, and maintain accurate data entry across multiple systems while upholding Orsini's commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualificações

• Illinois Pharmacy Technician License required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in pharmacy or healthcare related customer service experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• National Technician Certification preferred.
• Previous Specialty Pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and continually build rapport with patient base.
• Monitor compliance/persistence of medications.
• Evaluate adverse reactions of patients.
• Process and verify patient benefits and pay options as needed.
• Refer patients to clinical pharmacist or nurse as needed.
• Update tracking logs with order status and shipping information.
• Data entry into multiple workflow systems for end-to-end order process.
• Ensure timely processing of all patient orders per time frames.

COMPENSATION & LOCATION

The compensation for this role is starting at $21.00/hour.

This is a temporary seasonal hybrid position through February, based out of our Elk Grove Village, Illinois location. The role will primarily be remote, with one day per week required onsite.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for handling inbound calls from patients and/or caregivers to schedule a delivery anddeterminesupply needs; fill patient orders; accurately dispenses products in the computer system to generate a delivery ticket and/or prescription labels;assiststhe pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies usingappropriate techniquesand following Orsini policies and procedures.

• Ensuretimelyprocessing of all patient orders per committedtime frames
• Work in a team environment and provide support to teammates
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail while effectively prioritizing tasks, managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously, andmaintaininghigh performance in afast-pacedwork environment
