Job summary

Institute of Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a Patient Coordinator I for a full-time day shift at our Fort Walton Beach outpatient imaging center. You will be a strong communicator who welcomes patients, registers them, schedules appointments, and coordinates care in a friendly, patient-focused environment.

Entry-level position with on-the-job training; the Business Office Team supports operations and patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and registers patients, coordinates scheduling and appointments.
• Manages phone communications and patient correspondence.
• Handles inventory and medical record management for the center.
• Leads basic training for junior staff and supports team workflows.
