Job summary

Endodontic Specialists of NEPA PC – Hazleton is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a busy specialty practice. You will greet patients, manage front desk tasks, and support clinical operations to ensure a world-class patient experience.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of front office experience, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, team-based setting. This role emphasizes patient comfort and efficient office coordination.

Qualifications

  • At least 1–2 years of front office experience is required.
  • Familiarity with office machines (fax, printer, etc.).
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients to the dental office.

Our office, Endodontic Specialists of NEPA PC - Hazleton, is seeking a talented Dental Assistant to join our busy specialty practice.

We are looking for a talented and skilled Dental Assistant to help us accomplish our mission to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world-class specialty experience for every patient. Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for making a positive and lasting first impression. The ideal candidate should bridge the gap between customer obsession and clerical management. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while during their visit which means the following:

  • Welcoming patients to the dental office
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • Answering all incoming calls and redirecting them or keeping messages
  • Check, sort and forward emails
  • Keep updates records and files
  • Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper etc.)

As an essential member of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.

Your Background

You are a resourceful Patient Care Coordinator that strives to ensure patients receive the experience they deserve. You're a team player that is adaptable to new and challenging tasks. You’re an enthusiastic, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who is always proactively striving for excellence. You also have the following:

  • At least 1-2 years of front office experience is required
  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g fax, printer ect.)
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Problem-solving skills
  • A high school diploma
  • Desires to help your patients
  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to operate standard office equipment
  • Must be able to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas
  • Must be able to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods
  • Must be able to work around medical equipment and instruments
  • Must be able to adhere to OSHA and infection control standards
  • Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
  • Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations

Position Base Pay Range

$16 - $22 USD
