Job Title: PATIENT CARE ASST-8B-Medical Surgical- 40HR Night Shift (11PM TO 7:30AM) (252679)

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of the Registered Nurse.
2. Implement components of the care plan based on physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
3. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and emergency response measures.
4. Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, nutrition, and elimination needs.
5. Measure vital signs, perform ECGs, and capillary blood glucose testing.
6. Observe and report patient condition, treatment results, and equipment functioning.
7. Incorporate hospital's Customer Service Program into patient care activities.
8. Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
9. If not certified at hire, complete onsite nursing certification within 90 days.

Minimum Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant Program or at least one clinical rotation in an accredited Nursing program (Preferred)
• 1 Year experience in a patient care role (Preferred)
