Job summary

Mercy seeks a Patient Care Associate to provide compassionate, individualized care under supervision. You’ll perform clinical procedures and support tasks that impact patient outcomes while learning from experienced professionals.

Position: Patient Care Associate in the Facility Float Pool. Shift: Part Time Days, 12 hours per week. Training includes an accredited DOL Apprenticeship program with a 175-hour initial training and BLS within one month.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA/CPTC preferred but not required.
• Must be enrolled in a healthcare career program is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and document in EMR.
• Assist with meals, bathing, toileting, ambulation and mobility.
• Provide transportation and general patient support tasks.
• Perform clerical duties as needed.
