Job summary

Mercy is hiring nursing assistant roles across multiple units in Rogers, AR. You will assist in individualized patient care under the direction of the RN or LPN and perform designated clinical and non-clinical tasks to support the care team.

No prior experience is required for the PCT track; Mercy offers a 175-hour training program per state requirements, with orientation. BLS and PCA competencies are required within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; CNA/CPTC enrollment; Mercy employee may qualify.
• Experience: None required; PCT path includes 175-hour training within 90 days.
• Preferred Experience: Healthcare, customer care, or hospitality.
• Certifications: BLS within 1 month; PCA competencies within 3 months.
• Preferred Certifications: CNA.
• Other: Physical requirements: lift 50 pounds, stand/walk long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the RN or LPN, assist in individualized patient care to achieve the patient’s highest level of wellness.
• Perform designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks essential to providing care.
