Job Description

Responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing basic care to acutely ill patients, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and performing EKGs and Venipuncture as directed by the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• PCA/PCT diploma with 6 months to 1 year of healthcare experience OR CNA certification OR National Health Career Association certification OR EMT certification OR enrolled in an accredited nursing program with completed Nursing Fundamentals coursework OR evidence of completion of Nursing Assistant training OR PCA/PCT, Home Health Aide, or CMA experience

Preferred Requirements

• Phlebotomy experience
• Basic Life Support certification (through American Heart Association)
