Job summary

Penn State Health in Reading, PA is seeking a Patient Care Associate to work under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will perform basic patient care activities and non-professional services to support personal needs and comfort, with duties differing by unit.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Under direction of a Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Associate contributes to the basic patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient. Actual job tasks may vary depending on the unit or department assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within three (3) months of start date
