Waterbury Hospital is seeking a certified nursing assistant to provide general patient care under the guidance of registered nurses. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, phlebotomy, and providing nutritional support as needed.
The role requires CPR certification, a CNA credential, and strong communication skills. You will work in a collaborative team, maintain patient confidentiality, and participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives
Provide general patient care following standardized procedures that do not require state licensure for assigned unit, under the direction of an RN, according to the assigned patient population. Primary patient procedures may include ADL's, nutritional support, vital signs and phlebotomy.
