Emergency
Full Time position, works combination of 8 and 12 hour shifts for a total of 40 hours per week. Rotating days/evenings/nights. Steady nightshift schedule available if preferred. Weekends and holiday coverage as per department guidelines.
Provides direct patient care appropriate to age, culture, and developmental needs under the direction of the Professional Nurse. Works closely with patients to provide physical assistance with daily living tasks, such as dressing, bathing, feeding, toileting, vital signs, catheter care, answering call lights, assisting with ambulation, turning, and ensuring patient safety. Technical skills may include obtaining 12 lead EKG, setting up respiratory equipment, multiple Point of Care test(s) monitoring, bladder catheterization, venipuncture, and transcribing orders.
