Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Associate for the Dodd Hall General and Stroke Rehabilitation unit. The PCA collaborates with RN and care team to deliver patient-centered care, support the plan of care, and enhance service quality.

Candidates require a high school diploma or GED, prior patient care experience preferred, strong customer service and organizational skills, and successful completion of PCA training after hire.

Qualifications

The team, consisting of the Registered Nurse, and the Patient Care Associate provides patient care and supportive services that are directed towards achievement of patient care outcomes, maximizing the patient's involvement in his/her own plan of care, improving services levels, and reducing decreasing costs. Patients and their family will experience the benefits of patient focused care through the integrated skills of all care team members.
