Position Summary

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Associate contributes to basic patient care activities and non-professional services necessary for patient comfort and needs. Tasks may vary depending on the assigned unit or department.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • BLS certification required prior to orientation, obtained through Penn State Health or American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in hospital, rehabilitation, nursing home, or in-home health settings preferred
