Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Associate in Bone Marrow Transplant. You will support our RNs during high-stakes treatments, assisting with daily administrative tasks, patient care duties, admission and discharge in a bench-to-bedside environment that advances clinical breakthroughs for children.

As a Patient Care Associate in Bone Marrow Transplant, you'll have the opportunity to serve on the frontlines of groundbreaking new research. Minimum Education and/or Training

• High school diploma/GED.
• Completion of a Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant program required or completion of foundations of nursing from an accredited nursing program.

Minimum Experience

• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Experience with TPR (Temperature, Pulse, Respiratory), BP (Blood Pressure), bed bath and ADL (Activities of daily living) preferred.

Compensation

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $19.50 - $28.50 per hour for the role of Patient Care Associate: Bone Marrow Transplant Day shift.
