Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL is seeking a patient care assistant to provide foundational care under RN supervision. You will assist with personal care, vitals, and basic procedures such as EKG and phlebotomy, while maintaining clean, stocked patient areas.

Three months of patient care experience or completion of a formal training program is required. This role emphasizes reliability, stress tolerance, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced hospital

Responsabilidades

• Assists with keeping patient rooms/areas stocked, clean and orderly.
• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including but not limited to: monitoring vital signs, EKG testing, phlebotomy, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
• Monitors patient status and response; Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Assist with transporting patients, as needed.

Summary

Required Work Experience: Three (3) months of patient care experience demonstrating the ability to perform basic patient care or certification of completion from formal training program required.
