Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Associate to support bedside care under RN supervision and promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.

Qualified candidates certified as CNA, PCT, MA, EMT or with related experience are encouraged to apply; nursing students in BSN or direct-entry masters programs are preferred. The schedule includes 40 hours with day shifts, onsite in Newton.

Qualifications

• CNA, PCT, MA, EMT or equivalent certification required.
• NWH Patient Care Associate Training Program completion or nursing student who has completed fundamentals of nursing with clinical component.
• Nursing students enrolled in BSN programs or direct-entry Masters’ programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment under RN supervision.
• Provide daily patient care activities as directed and coordinate with the interdisciplinary health care team.
