Job summary

St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center® in New York is seeking a Patient Care Associate to deliver direct patient care under supervision. The role includes bathing, feeding, mobility assistance, and documenting patient activities as part of a high‑quality cardiac care team.

The position requires an HS Diploma or GED, with prior hospital experience or CNA certification preferred. Hourly compensation is offered with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within Catholic Health.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Previous hospital experience or CNA preferred.
• Home health or clinical setting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including bathing, toileting, hydration, nutrition, ambulation, turning and positioning patients.
• Perform phlebotomy, 12-lead EKGs, arrhythmia detection, monitor vital signs and glucose levels.
• Document patient activities and care accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including bathing, toileting, hydration, nutrition, ambulation, turning and positioning patients
• Selected technical skills include phlebotomy, 12 lead EKGs, arrhythmia detection, vital signs, and glucose monitoring
• Documentation of patient activities

Salary Range

USD $27.68 - USD $27.68 /Hr.
