Job summary

USA Health is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support patient care on the Gulf Coast. You will work under the supervision of registered nurses, perform basic tasks, and help ensure patient comfort from admission through discharge.

This role emphasizes accurate charting, infection control, and teamwork across shifts. The position requires a high school diploma and Basic Life Support; prior hospital experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; substitutions allowed for the right experience.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Combination of education and experience may substitute for the above.

Responsibilities

• Receives assignments from RN.
• Assists with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Takes and records vital signs and weight.
• Records intake/output and monitors patient fluids.
• Maintains medical records (electronic and paper).
• Assists with activities of daily living.
• Responds to call lights and supports patient nourishment.
• Maintains clean, stocked patient areas.
• Participates in orientation and infection control adherence.
