Job summary

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• High School diploma or equivalent with CNA or Medical Assistant certification.
• Able to obtain BLS certification within 60 days of employment.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Computer skills including word processing and database usage.
• Prior experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to work efficiently under frequent interruption.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical duties and maintain patient records.
• Assist nurses and communicate with hospital departments.
• Register patients and input information in Meditech.
• Assist in carrying out physicians' orders and daily living activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and assist with accuchecks and EKGs as ordered.
