Responsibilities

Job Summary

  1. Deliver exceptional service to patients and staff by adhering to safety, quality, and customer service standards, fostering a positive environment aligned with our mission and values.
  2. Perform delegated nursing skills, such as activities of daily living, patient monitoring, nutritional support, and other clinical tasks, following hospital and nursing standards.
  3. Within scope, perform skills like specimen collection, use of specialized equipment, restraint monitoring, and patient elimination procedures, communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
  4. Handle unit functions including patient admission/discharge, environmental organization, and other care-related activities.
  5. Perform and document point-of-care testing, assist with patient mobility, hygiene, grooming, and dietary needs.
  6. Assist with patient transport and perform clerical duties using fax, computers, and communication devices.
  7. Follow emergency and safety protocols to maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients and families.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare experience
